You are only allowed to publish a carpooling ad if you meet all of the following conditions:

• You hold a valid driver’s licence;

• You offer carpooling advertisements only for vehicles that you own or that you use with the express permission of the owner, and in any case that you are authorized to use for carpooling purposes;

• You are and remain the principal driver of the vehicle, which is the subject of the Carpool Ad;

• The vehicle has valid third party insurance;

• You have no medical contraindications or disabilities to drive;

• The vehicle you intend to use for the trip is a 4-wheeled passenger car with a maximum seating capacity of 7, excluding “unlicensed” cars;

• you do not intend to publish another ad for the same carpooling trip on the Platform;

• You do not offer more seats than are available in your vehicle;

• All available seats are equipped with a safety belt, even if the vehicle is approved for use with unrestrained seats;

• You are using a vehicle that is in perfect working order and complies with the applicable customs and legal provisions, in particular with an up-to-date technical inspection;

• You are a consumer and not acting in a professional

In addition, we may discontinue an ad or block your account if you fail to comply with our terms and conditions:

“In addition, when using the Platform as a Driver, you agree to:

• Comply with all laws, rules and codes applicable to driving and to the vehicle, in particular to have valid third-party insurance at the time of the Carpooling Trip and to be in possession of a valid driver’s license; 

• Not to take any risks while driving, not to take any substance that may impair your attention and ability, and to drive alertly and safely; 

• Publish Carpooling Advertisements corresponding only to journeys actually envisaged; 

• Carry out the Carpooling Trip as described in the Carpooling Ad (in particular with regard to the use or not of the motorway) and respect the times and places agreed with the other Members (in particular the meeting and drop-off points); 

• Not to take more Passengers than the number of Places indicated in the Carpooling Ad; 

• To use a vehicle in perfect working order and in conformity with the applicable customs and legal provisions, in particular with an up-to-date technical inspection; 

• Provide GoViens or any Passenger who requests it with your driving license, your vehicle registration document, your insurance certificate, your roadworthiness certificate and any other document proving your ability to use this vehicle as a Driver on the Platform; 

• In the event of an impediment or change to the schedule or the Carpooling Trip, inform your Passengers without delay; 

• In the case of a cross-border Carpooling Trip, to have and keep available for the Passenger and any authority that may request it any document of a nature to prove your identity and your ability to cross the border; 

• Wait for Passengers at the agreed meeting place at least 15 minutes after the agreed time; 

• Not to publish a Carpooling Ad relating to a vehicle of which you are not the owner or that you are not entitled to use for carpooling purposes; 

• Ensure that you are reachable by telephone by your Passengers, at the number registered on your Profile;
• Not generate any profit through the Platform; 

• Warrant that he/she has no medical contraindications or incapacities to drive;
• Behave appropriately and responsibly, during the Carpooling Trip and in accordance with the spirit of carpooling.”
• In order to achieve a fair and lowest possible price among its users, GoViens gives the owner of the personal vehicle the power to set the price he/she wishes to obtain per seat.  The payments on the platform are collected on the GoViens account and are paid to the drivers after the driver has dropped off the passenger.
