Yes, your reservation can be cancelled at any time. Nevertheless, a cancellation fee may be charged.

  • If you have made a reservation for a short distance trip (intra-city), you can cancel this reservation without paying any fees if and only if you cancel 30 minutes or more before the start of the
  • If you have made a reservation for a long distance trip (inter-city), you can cancel this reservation without paying any fees if and only if you cancel it 24 hours or more before the start of the
  • If you have booked a short-haul trip (intra-city) and cancelled 29 minutes or less before the start of the trip, you will be charged a cancellation
  • If you have made a reservation for a long-distance trip (inter-city) and you cancel it 23:59 minutes or less before the start of the trip, you will be charged a cancellation fee.

The start of the trip commits all users to a trip. It is recommended to start your trip at the exact time published online. GoViens gives the possibility to start the trip 30 minutes before the announced time if the driver and the passengers are already present and all agree. Also, the trip cannot be started more than 1 kilometer radius from the location indicated in the trip announcement.

Yes, you only need to be asked by the passenger before they pass your point of arrival. You are not required to accept a detour from the main road.

No. You are not required to drop off passengers after the arrival point you have advertised in your travel offer.

The driver can only cancel a passenger’s reservation after the departure time announced in the travel offer. Nevertheless, the driver and passengers can agree TOGETHER to wait for a latecomer.

By clicking on the button ”Start the trip”, GoViens starts the financial operations between the driver and the passengers. For the safety of the passengers and the driver, the driver must NEVER start a trip without verifying all passengers on board (PIN code).

  • If there are no reservations on a trip offer, the driver must cancel this offer on his application and he will not be charged. If the driver forgets to cancel the trip, GoViens will automatically delete this trip offer 72 hours after the scheduled departure date and time for this trip.
  • If there are reservations on a trip offer and the driver cannot make this trip for any reason, the driver must cancel this offer on his application within the required time. If the driver forgets to cancel the trip and finally does not travel anymore, GoViens will automatically delete this trip offer 72 hours after the scheduled departure date and time for this trip.

Three payment methods are offered to the passenger:

  • Book and pay immediately with your GoViens wallet: If the passenger chooses this payment option, then he is debited immediately when he validates his reservation and his seat is automatically confirmed. The funds are paid to GoViens who will pay the driver at destination. The passenger must make sure to fund his GoViens wallet either by mobile payment, credit or debit card, paypal, before validating his trip.
  • Book and pay cash to the driver: If the passenger chooses this payment option, then he/she will hand over the exact amount announced in the travel offer to the driver upon boarding. The seat in this case is not yet confirmed. The passenger will wait for the driver to confirm whether or not to accept the cash If the driver accepts the cash payment, then your seat will be confirmed. Otherwise, you will not be able to travel with that driver.
  • Book and pay at the pick-up point with your GoViens wallet: If the passenger chooses this payment option, then he/she is debited at the pick-up point after being verified by the driver (PIN code) and his/her seat is automatically confirmed. The funds are paid to GoViens who will pay the driver at destination. The passenger before validating his trip must make sure to fund his GoViens wallet either by mobile payment, credit or debit card, paypal, etc.
