Who we are

GoViens is a Canadian company that connects people who want to share the same ride, and this is made possible through its mobile application GoViens Auto.

GoViens is a carpooling company headquartered in Canada with the ambition to conquer several countries around the world. Several branches have already been launched in Africa since the year 2020.

With new technologies, we have set up the GoViens Auto application which allows us to connect owners of personal (non-commercial) vehicles going in a given direction with people who do not have vehicles, going in the same direction.

Going to or from work as usual, traveling on weekends as usual, vehicle owners offer unoccupied seats in their vehicles to people going in the same direction as them while saving on fuel and road tolls. Carpooling with GoViens is safe and fun!

Our Missions

We bring freedom, security, fairness, brotherhood and satisfaction to our members and to ourselves. Because carpooling and connecting people also creates, for the time of a journey or trip together, a unique space that allows for exchanges between identified people who would probably never have met otherwise. Thus, our activities give the opportunity to break down barriers and create a social link between our members. Our activity also helps to protect our environment while reducing CO2 emissions and traffic jams on our roads.

How does it work

If you are a passenger :

Download the GoViens Auto application and fill in your profile: Be sure to include a full-face photo of yourself and your valid ID
Search for a route and book your seat
Get to the meeting place and board the vehicle
At the end of the trip, rate the driver and share your experience.

If you are a driver :

Download the GoViens Auto application and fill in your profile

Be sure to include a full-face photo of yourself and your valid ID.

Charge your vehicle on the GoViens application

The documents required depend on the legal requirements of each country. For example:

Driver’s license,
Insurance
Car registration
Technical visit
Image of the vehicle
License plate

We recommend that you take a picture of the required items before you start loading them into the application. This will make it easier for you.

Offer a ride

Specify:

Place of departure
Place of arrival
Date & time
Price/seat
Accepted method of payment
Useful travel details to be communicated to passengers (Stops, Luggage, Exact boarding location, Smoking or non-smoking, etc.)

Start the journey

Go to the pick-up point announced in your travel offer few minutes before the departure
Identify the passengers as they arrive through their PIN code that they will provide
Drive

Complete the journey

Rate each passenger as you drop them off or at the end of the trip and share your experience.

Receive your payment immediately.
